rules OF ENGAGEMENT
Article V: Rules and Regulations
Tango Alpha2 adheres to a strict code of conduct, on and off the field of play. This code of conduct, rule set, and charter will be read by and obeyed by Team Members. Should any of the rules or code of conduct be broken by a Team Member during an event (any paintball game or practice), it will result in a warning. Severity of the offense could be cause for immediate discharge. Should a second occurrence of the same offense take place, a second warning will be issued and filed. On the third same offense, the player will be put to a Discharge Vote.
Cheating is grounds for an immediate Discharge vote.
Cheating will not be tolerated. Cheating is, but not limited to "wiping paint off", knowingly lying about being hit, lying about other players being hit, or other dishonorable acts.
All house rules of the field being played upon shall be treated the same as Tango Alpha2’s regulations. Violations of field rules will be treated as violations of the Tango Alpha2 Charter and regulations. Multiple field rule violations made, no matter the location of the field, shall be treated as subsequent and repetitive violations and held to the Three Strike Policy.
All Tango Alpha2 members are required to attend the safety/game briefings that are customary before each event, no matter the skill level of the player or how often the field is visited. Listen attentively, even though most of the rules are the same from field to field. These actions display respect and professionalism and others will look to your example. Make it a good one.
Recommended Conduct
- We will lead by example. We will not whine about other people cheating. If someone outside the team is believed to be cheating, this can be brought to the attention of a referee for review. If a referee reviews the matter, the referee’s decision is final. Whining only hurts the sport and the team.
- We will congratulate the other players when they shoot us out or when they make a good play.
- We will mentor younger or newer players with advice or leadership.
- We will treat walk-on players with the same respect as team members. They paid the same as you did to play. They may one day become your team member.
- We will play with humor and entertain other players whenever possible as ambassadors of paintball.
- We can take the game seriously, but not ourselves.
- We are on a team. We have within each of us our own individual strengths and talents that make us unique and an asset to the team, but we are in fact a team and we are stronger together. We are to work as a unit, for the team and for your team members who count on your strengths and support.
- And remember, we are ambassadors of paintball -- ambassadors of scenario games. .
